We wish to appoint an energetic Site Operative/Caretaker to join our friendly team within the busy Estates and Facilities Department. This interesting and varied role would suit a person who has a friendly and helpful manner, is a team player and has a 'can do' attitude.
The purpose of the role is to ensure a safe, secure, welcoming environment for staff, pupils, and school visitors. Daily tasks include routine health and safety checks, acting as a bus chaperone, transporting a range of goods between our three School sites, general caretaking and key holder duties.
The successful candidate must have basic IT skills and hold a current driving licence. They will be provided with suitable work wear, full induction, training and supportive line management. A current D1 licence would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.
The working pattern for this role is 37 hours per week, which will be worked flexibly between 7am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. A small number of Saturdays will need to be worked and will be repaid as time off in lieu.
This role will be predominantly based at our Nursery and Pre-Prep, Weston Lane, Bath. Refreshments and lunch are provided, and appropriate training will be available with the opportunity for progression for motivated and proactive candidates.
